Description
- Vitamin D comes in two different formulations. Vitamin D2, also called ergocalciferol and vitamin D3, also known as cholecalciferol
- D2 is a far inferior form of vitamin D that does not get absorbed into the human body well.
- D3 is synthesized by humans and is a more potent form. More importantly, it is better absorbed by the human body.
- So if you take Vitamin D, make it D3.
